We do work aiming to ''Business related to conservation and cultivation for the fishery resources, control, hygiene, and the preservation of fishing grounds environment, and it contributes to the improvement of national life by the establishment of sustainable fishing, safety and security of fishery products''. Our business is summarized in the following five contents.

A summary of a corporate juridical person for public benefit -Japan Fisheries Resource Conservation Association-

1. History (Histories) 1)The object of establishment 　Japan Fisheries Resource Conservation Association (here-in-after called JFRCA) was established as a corporate juridical person that aiming to contribute to maintenance and increase of fisheries resource and stabilization of fishery production at Apr.,1963, in cooperation with state, local government and fishery affiliate etc, we have been carrying on many businesses involved in the dissemination of knowledge and technology relating to the conservation and cultivation for fisheries resource over about 50 years. 　This time, the results of our efforts was recognized in a performance as a public benefit by the Cabinet Office, and we have started as a corporate juridical person for public benefit newly as at April 1, 2013. The purpose of business in the articles of our association is for aiming to do ''operation related to the conservation and cultivation of the fisheries resource, control, hygiene, and the preservation of fishing grounds environment, and it will contribute to the improvement of national life to ensure a sustainable fishing, safety and security of food '' and ''Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread, assistance etc relating to the conservation and cultivation of the fisheries resource'' , ''Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread, certification and accreditation etc relating to the control fisheries resource '', ''Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread, research, certification and accreditation etc relating to the hygiene of fisheries resource'', "Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread etc relating to the preservation of fishing grounds environment", and ''Other necessary operations to achieve the purpose of the association'' . 　As same as before, in addition to the various business about ocean and river environment, and fishery production and aquaculture hygiene, we are willing to strive for further business that facing to consumer from distribution and processing for public benefit to the activities will be bound with the establishment of sustainable fishery and Food safety and security'' .

3) Qualification etc i.　Accreditation in technology as education organization for Expert of prevention of epidemics for fishes disease (from 1984) . ii.　Organization for Inspection of Fishes disease in accordance with '' Exporting fishery products to Russia '' under Japanese regulations. iii.　Certification organization of Marine Eco-label Japan (MEL Japan ) started from 2008. iv.　Certification organization of '' JAS law" which is Publication of　information of process of production for farmed fish based on act on regulation of standards and quality of agricultural and forestry started from 2009. v.　Certification organization of AEL.

2. Business Item (1) Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread, assistance etc about conservation and cultivation for the fisheries resource. (2) Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread, certification and accreditation etc about control for fisheries resource. (3) Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread, inspection, certification and accreditation etc about hygiene for fisheries resource. (4) Research, collecting data and enlightenment, spread etc about preservation of fishing grounds environment. (5) Other necessary operation to achieve the purpose of association.

3. Business Results from 2012. 1) Proper business (1) Project about the enlightenment and study for Fishery resources. i.　Enlightenment and spread business Holding a circuit classroom for studying about Conservation of fisheries resource. Dispatching consultants for studying about conservation of fisheries resource. Dispatching lecturers to Brock (regional) training meeting for studying about conservation of fisheries resource. 　In order to contribute to providing knowledge and information about conservation and cultivation of fisheries resource, in response to requirement from urban and rural prefectures, we have carried to hold circuit classroom (36 times in 20 urban and rural prefectures),to dispatch consultants (6 men to 6 urban and rural prefectures) and to dispatch lectures to Brock training meeting (8 men at 5 times to 5 urban and rural prefectures). ii.　Financial assistance business for Promotion of Activity in fishing village Assistance for Research practical activities in fishing village. 　In order to contribute to the improvement of technology about conservation and cultivation of fisheries resource, in response to the recommendations made by urban and rural prefectures, we have carried to assist finance for 9 projects of 9 prefectures. iii.　Publication business Quarterly and annual reports, brochures, etc. 　We have published 4 times of quarterly report, in addition to the annual report, and brochures related to " Saury" and "Varieties of Fishing methods" as a proper leaflet.

(2) Accreditation business in technology for Expert of prevention of epidemics for fishes disease 　We have held the examination on accreditation in technology for Expert of prevention of epidemics for fishes disease, and accreditation etc.
(3) Certification business of Marine Eco-label Japan scheme. 　We have audited various Issues of Certification for Production stage and Chain of custody. (4) Certification business of '' JAS law" which is Publication of information of process of production for farmed fish We have held the training meeting etc. (5) Inspection business of Fishes disease i.　Diagnosis work of virus disease and a specific disease for carp etc. 　Inspection of Koi Herpes Virus ( said KHV), and spring virenmia of carp ( said SVC) etc. ii.　Inspection of Fishes disease in accordance with ''Exporting fishery products to Russia'' under Japanese regulations. Inspection regarding to specified species of fish and specified fishes disease designated by Russian government for fishery products will be exported to Russia iii.　Inspection of Kudoa-Septenkutata for flounder Microscopic examination and PCR test for said parasite. iv.　Inspection of Mackerel VHS; viral hemorrhagic septicemia Inspection regarding to specified species of fish and disease for exporting designated by destination country government.
2) Consignment business (1) Countermeasure Operation for Prevention of damage by Red tide, hypoxic water consigned by Fishery Agency. (2)　Promoting operation of countermeasure for Aquaculture hygiene consigned by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries 3) Subsidization, special account and other business. Operation for prevention of KHV spread grant by Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 2003
